I'm 21, and even I can't agree with putting a new driver in snow. I've survived some nightmarish roads, but this was after having proper reactions for all possible snowy terrain etched into my dome. There have still been times where I would've been in a serious collision if not for three things: 1. Decent reaction/ hand/eye, 2. Immediate recall of how to react, 3. A few times, it's only by the grace of God that I didn't ride nose first down an embankment... Kind of thing where you're sure you're going to go flying over it, you know what's at the bottom, and all you can think is "OHHHHH SHIT!" Not pleasant.

One of those times, I did, in the middle of summer. Totally not my fault either. But that's a different story altogether...

What has been said about judgement is 100% correct.
