Suppose I should introduce myself....

Post by DarkPilot »

So, here I am. I've been driving stick steadily for about a year now, and had my dad teach me in his 84 Volvo wagon (Original clutch/tranny and over 270,000 mi on both) in the fall/winter of 07. I drove that car for 6 months before I graduated college and moved out onto my own and picked up this:

In all it's 2.0 5 spd stock glory 8)
Please excuse the salt, it's been rather wet here as of late :(

As for myself, well. I'm 21 and finished a 2 year college program for aircraft maintenance this past summer and am currently gainfully employed with a nice little regional airline. :)

I'm also working on acquiring my dads Volvo and setting about restoring it, since he's parked it due to the bodywork not being able to pass the safety inspection anymore

Looking forward to lurking, learning and posting.

I've briefly visited London, Ontario. It's on the way to Toronto from Chicago.

Hey I'm from London, Ontario too. And I am also in my first year of aircraft maintenance. I'm guessing you went to Centennial.
Two pedals, two feet, too easy.

I've heard good things about Centennial, though I went to NSCC myself. The job though, was here in London. So as I've grown accustomed to, I packed all my stuff into a panel van and shipped myself out here 8)

Craziest thing I've done in my car? Aside from a little parking lot drifting after a few recent snow storms, and some spirited highway driving it's been rather standard fare as driving goes
