Imported from SaabCentral (NOW WITH PICS!)
Hey all!
I've already posted here a couple times, but I figured I'd make it official just in case I end up spending some real time over here...
I've always passionately enjoyed driving. It's an activity, never a chore. There's something about the craft of driving a stick shift that just resonates with me. My first stick shift was a 1994 Taurus SHO... that car delivered such an incredible experience, and I loved it right until I killed it. after a long pause I was introduced to the world of the Saab 9-3. It started just six months ago with a 9-3 base model that fit me like a glove.
If my favorite feature on a car is a gearshift, then my second favorite is a turbo. And a bigger one is always better. As such, I parted ways with the 9-3 and got myself a 9-3 Viggen. I drive her like she's a racecar, regardless of the speed I'm traveling. I wring her out and she scares me with the simultaneous ease and urgency with which she completes a maneuver. I hypermile with her and she returns shocking fuel economy. She's my ideal car, and if you told me at the beginning of this year that she'd be mine, I'd never have believed it.
Hope to learn quite a bit here; looks like it's going to be a fun ride!

Re: Imported from SaabCentral
Serves me right for not specifying 30% of what.
I'd take 93 octane over 60 proof...

Sadly us Californians all know how much harder it is to find 93 octane than 60 proof.RITmusic2k wrote:Serves me right for not specifying 30% of what.
