gary only turned 2 laps and was slowest out of 32 drivers, lap notes say:

7:39:10pm
No. 27 Sheehan is slow on the front straight, with smoke coming from the back of the car.

no laps turned by gary in practice today.

I was at qualifying and practice yesterday. Only got to see the champ and celebrity cars tho. :(

so Gary didn't race today, must have been a terminal problem on friday.

Gary, can you provide any insight, and will you guys be running any other races this year?

:( That has to be frustrating for a driver beyond comprehension, you're all ready to go and there is a problem with the car.

Sorry guys. We had a $5 part fail, which took out the motor in our first practice.

It IS frustrating, because so much time and effort went into this car. It was a long weekend with no driving. We stayed to greet fans and let them know we'd be back.

The car has a lot of potential. We just need to develop the package a bit more to get the reliability and performance where it needs to be.

We'll be out again soon...

A $5 part? That would leave me extremely angry. It would totally suck to open the hood and find a simple hose blown off...

what happened to that suzuki you got a while back? The one repainted with flames and all that stuff?
