I go back and forth regarding rules changes. I always want F1 to be one of the fastest formulae (sp?) out there, but I would like to see some more wheel to wheel action. Sometimes it's difficult finding a bridge between the two.

I do disagree with the comment on slicks. They mean a lot in terms of raw speed. I somewhat agree, but definitely see your point regarding harder compounds...however I don't want to see GT style braking zones that are massive (relatively). I'd like to think that when you are at that level, you can pass under most circumstances...however that isn't always the case, eh?

I agree F1 should be the fastest formula, but absolutely there is a compromise between pure speed, safety, cost control and competative passing - a great racing series needs all these.
