I've got an idea. How about letting them just enjoy their drifting if that's what makes them happy? No one was there and no one got hurt - everything's fine!

I'm snowdrifting evry winter myself :D just to save tires... 1000 € for tires is guite lot :evil:

i know its awesome isnt it. yeah i go snow drifting too that vid was the only time i have down in on dry pavement. those tires were junk before that anyway

Yeah, but for me FWD isn't option, 4wd or RWD is the only possible solution :twisted:

yeah i drifted my dads truck a few times this winter its a RWD chevy 1500 silverado. that was really fun.

On those 700 class drivers were volvos own drivergroup, (all females) and that man on 200 series was once some medium boss on volvo company.

There is no video of it, but I drifted an M60 tank (inadvertently) on the test track outside the tank plant. Thought I was going to put it through the wall and take out the Officer's Club noon crowd. I lived, they lived, no harm, no fowl.

I wonder how well the "Fire Control" systems would be able to handle being asked to lock onto (and lead, if necessary) a target while drifting. Probably not too easy for short-range targets, since the image of the target will be changing significantly in perspective.

if you could actually do battle like that, drift and fire shots from the tank, you'd be set.

Sure, keeping the front of the tank pointed toward the target gives maximum protection to the tank's crew. Tanks don't like being shot at from their flanks and butts, or from above.
