I just read about this.

If it really only costs 300K a year, hundreds of drivers will be trying to get into this series. GP2 costs millions a year. A competative seat in a competative formula 3 series costs way more then 300K. 300K for a rung under F1 is a helluva deal.

that said, I don't this will actually happen, and if it does, it will end up costing over 500K euros or so.
