Jest like that PBS Show about the National Parks. "Indian Narrator sez "Yeah, I can just imagine that a buncha white men were watching Old Faithful erupt and so proud of what they had "discovered" when the red men had known about it for thousands of years already."

In my dictionary, the red men used definition #1 to discover it, but the white men had used definition #2 when they discovered it.
