For Meets?

Post by comingbackdown »

May I suggest that we have an official thread or forum for those wishing to schedule meets? I'm working at one, Tinton is working at one... I'm sure that there will be more...

The best place to set up a meet would be in your region's respective section.

Sadly, nobody ever reads the bleedin' regionals... I set up a thread there. Not much of a reply base. Tinton moved his as well... Note to forum members... read the regionals once in a while. you might find something interesting there...

Maybe we could add an "SS Meets" forum in the general section? That way, people have less of a scroll to do in order to find meets near them? I know that's the point of the regional forums, but very few people even read them it's not funny. I do read them, but rarely comment in them. ;)

Me:  :) :D

:? I read any section that is marked as unread, as I'm sure many other people do. I don't really see a need for an "SS Meet" forum. It seems like that would defeat the purpose of having regional sections.

I've looked at the hit stats for my thread in the U.S. Northeast section...
Not much... In fact, no, everybody doesn't read the regionals just becase they're unread, which sucks... People should do that more often... Those poor regional sections, sitting off all alone by themselves......
But seriously folks, read the regionals... Might find something interesting there...

We're directly all meeting threads to the regional sections by way of Annoucement - you should see readership increase. Please post all of your meeting threads in the regionals. Thanks! :D
