how low is too low for idle?

how low is too low for idle?

my car has been running except recently my idle has been alittle low. its between 600 and 700 rpm. should i get it looked at?

My car idles around 700-800 ... I don't think you want your idle much higher than that. If your car isn't stalling or the engine isn't all over the map jumping between various idle ranges, I don't think it is anything to worry about.

Not at all, that's perfectly fine for your car.

600-700 rpm is normal after your car warms up. If you don't notice any extra vibration in your car it's all good.

+1. As long as the engine doesn't sputter and sound ready to die, it's fine.

It's ok. Mine idles low, and sometimes just a tiny little vibration. No problem

Im gessing you still have the VG30DETT. My VG30DE Idles at 1000 always... I dont no if anything lower than that is normal for the VG. Then again, Im no mechanic.
