I drove the turbo 4 in yellow. Did want. Have Focus ST instead (cheaper to buy and insure).
I got the Turbo 4 and I am certainly happy. Yeah, a bit pricey tho. Not as pricey as the V8 would be tho...

Thank you, thank you.

The wheels are upgraded, but it's the Turbo 4.

I went with the T4 over the V6 due to more power 310 vs 300 hp & 320 lb/ft vs 280 lb/ft & the MPG is much better as well.

All in all.... I get 31 mpg on the highway with 310/320 hp / lb/ft @ the rear wheels with a 6-speed stick shift in my right hand.

Performance & practicality at the same time.

I have missed the fun in my driving for the last year or so as the Mazda 3 was not in working order and I was driving the Jeep. The Jeep however, is no slouch as it puts down 290 hp, but paddle shifters are NOT the same as a clutch pedal and rowing your own gears as many of you all here, know.

Nice. When I drove one I really enjoyed what I call the squirrel valve. A fun little flutter as the turbo farts or whatever happens.

Oh god, flutter? I hate turbo flutter. Sounds awful and it really isn't good for the mechanical bits. Just give me one big PSSHHHHH and be done with it.

Just an update after about 10 months or so...

Couldn't have been enjoying the Mustang anymore than I am currently.

I get 29 mpg combined when I just care to drive "normal."

And I tap into the 310 horses and 320 lb/ft when I feel for some spirited driving.

The BEST of both worlds, basically. The GREATEST thing, however, is that I still enjoy driving STICK SHIFT.

I think, ultimately, that's probably what makes me enjoy driving the MOST. Perhaps, almost any car, I would be happy driving. As long as I'm rowing my own GEARS...

PS. Hope all are doing well.

Seams Tummy that the more involved you are with something, the more enjoyable it is.

NICE!! i've researched the mustangs and wrxes more lately, so re-reading this thread is more interesting this time around, and i think you made the right choice with the mustang (though the wrx would be nice too). do you have the premium package?? i wish you could get the V6 with that package. i think they're ditching the V6 this year though anyway...
