Does anyone think we will get this and think we will be able to get the 2 door version?

I think the biggest issue is whether or not the manufacturing plant in Mexico has the capability to produce the ST. Ford doesn't import these vehicles from Europe (from my understanding), that's one of the reasons they don't make a diesel Fiesta.

But they should atleast have a 2 door, I bet they don't want to take any competition away from the Mustang..

A souped-up Fiesta would not compete very much with the Mustang, but it would compete with other manufacturers. The net effect would have to be an immediate gain for Ford and a long-term strategic gain for the Mustang when Fiesta ST owners upgrade to the RWD Mustang.

But lets say someone who is wanting a 2 door car relatively cheap car. The only option would be to get the mustang because what other cars are 2 doors? I know I do not want a 4 door fiesta. They had a 2 door Focus and no clue why they stopped making that. They even made an SVT version.

I don't think anybody wanting a relatively cheap 2-door car will buy a $22,000 base model Mustang instead of going to the competition. Civic, tC, and Forte (among others) compete in that arena.

What if they want to stay domestic? I mean they used I guess domestics never competed well in the pocket rocket category. The only two I can think of are the dodge srt4 and the focus svt. The focus was the only 2 door. Then again its 2AM almost, there are more right?

I should have re-stated...2 door, cheap, so under 20k and a 4cylinder.

Yeah can't disagree. And neither does the general public. There's a reason my dealership only has a handful in stock at any time compared to like 80 Camry's...

they don't make a 2 door yaris do they?

But the Kia Forte Koup I think its spelled...Someone on here owns one so he might correct me. The honda civic coupe, and the honda Cr-z but that is just shy of 20k...and after taxes that won't be affordable. After that I have no idea whatelse there is.

The focus coupe was nice. Image
