As of two days ago, my SS is now no longer just paperwork and exists in the real world, and is awaiting shipment to the U.S.

Since the Mustang won't be a Mustang without the 5.0, go with the WRX. However, if I was in your shoes, I'd save up a little more and get the 5.0. A little biased, I know, I have an affinity towards muscle cars, but still. V8, RWD, stick. Can't get any better.
