Re: So what is the best manual you've ever driven?
I think it depends. That Protege I drove had a pretty low engagement point. It caught me by surprise, but I liked it. My clutch engages like halfway through the pedal travel. The Sunfire I drove immediately started moving once my leg started to .

Re: So what is the best manual you've ever driven?
Clutch pedal had no feeling to it. Shifting didn't feel like anything. There are some cars where you just get in and feel "connected" with feedback. I never got that feeling in those cars. Everything just felt.....cheaply done.

Re: So what is the best manual you've ever driven?
Am I missing something with domestic car manuals? Not muscle and sports cars, just their Corolla, Civic, and Elantra competitors. Every domestic car I've driven with a stick has been absolutely horrible. Terrible clutch and gearbox. The gearboxes feel like they're made from rubber bands and paper cl...

I actually had some Pizza Hut last night . I still prefer the small shops though. PH's thin crust pizza we had wasn't all to great. I don't know how it is where you guys are, but they never put enough sauce on their pizza.

. I had some lunatic pass me on a double yellow. He blew through 4 stop signs on the other side of the road. There's no reason to be in that kind of rush.

Re: Another Day, Another Idiot Driver (Misc Thread for Stori
This guy would gun it after me after every stop sign. Wtf. Then he would throw his hands up in frustration because apparently driving the speed limit in the rain in a school zone is the wrong thing to do

I never watched or read any of Hitch's videos or books. Care to enlighten me? I know he was all over Reddit the other day.

Make me one while you're at it. The cupholders in my car don't do anything but spill stuff on my carpet.theholycow wrote:Your mission: Make a cupholder for your car out of a Honda engine.

Re: So what is the best manual you've ever driven?
I've only driven a few, but one car, besides mine, stands out. Mazda Protege5 wagon. The gearbox wasn't as nice as mine, but man that car was peppy and the throttle response was insane. Only thing I wish it had was a turbo.

+1. Have you checked that arm which has the cable on it? The name of it escapes me at the moment, but we worked on an Accord with no heat and there was a TSB out for it which called for you to put a piece of vacuum tube on it to prevent the cable from falling off the arm.

I have almost 25 hours invested into Skyrim already. This is not good. I fear for my sanity.

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
Nice. Those washers that came with my fuel filter have almost bit the dust :( . Guess copper wasn't the smartest choice. Waiting for the Honda ones to show up. Thankfully the leak isn't too bad. There's just a little fuel on the line. I'd go to Home Depot and find them, but the Honda ones are a weir...
