Re: What is your highest level of education?
It was a semi-self-mocking comment. I got the education that I did because I was inspired by the idea of space exploration. I have since found that real-life aerospace industry is decidedly less glamorous than I imagined it to be. But now I am more focused on personal happiness - which means I may ...

Please tell me that you're not building any airplanes or anything heavy that can fall out of the sky. Helicopters - though not making, just doing contracting engineering work for a manufacturer. And yes, for their report, in certain sections, they want sig figs. Well, as long as the two rul...

My 2002 GMC Sierra 1500, [the] Engine definitely sounds old now...but it's still running strong. It has suffered worse abuses than the transmission. Not sure how much life it has left but when it fails I'll probably just replace the engine, they're inexpensive. Well, these are always the questions,...

...the angles, in these cases that I am picturing, aren't measure by hand, so they can be precise down to 5.62 degrees. That's not an excuse. My speed isn't measured by hand, either. I wouldn't trust it to even +/- 0.5 MPH. Hey, I didn't say it was a great system, I was just pointing out that was w...

Indeed, Welcome!
And for the small amount of time I spent in Trieste.... you are brave, indeed, to drive on those roads. I saw no Ferraris, but I saw a lot of Ferrari driving.

I give this car an 85% chance of making it to 200k miles. I vaguely recall that your previous vehicle died a premature death but I suspect that one is in the 15%. Premature at 239k? If a Honda can routinely do better than that, I'm impressed. There's no make or model on the market today that doesn'...
