I like how you cut off the top of the stock knob and glued it on the dash for the shift pattern.

Re: How many here use aftermarket shift knobs?

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c274/InlinePaul/Baseball_Shift_Knob.jpg Every floor shifted Ford I have had (1984 F150, 1995 F150, and 2001 Ranger) has had the factory shift knob come off on the 1-2 shift under heavy acceleration. I remember the knob flying into the back seat on the '95-- W...

Re: Bucking after upshift

Around what rpm are you shifting at and how fast are you letting out on the clutch? Usually in small displacement cars shifting at a low rpm and releasing the clutch too quick can cause that.

If the grab point feels inconsistent then it could still have air in the hydraulic lines. Unless they were able to change it without opening the system. Not sure how Hondas are made.

Re: '14 Fiat 500 of the 5-speed variety

What a shame. Seems most manufactures save for a few are going the way of no clutch feel. I drove a 5 speed Tacoma the other day and it was similar to what you described. It engaged very low and had no feel to be able to ride it out should you need to. It was kinda all or nothing. One car that surp...

Re: Job Help/Career Advice

Question to the OP: Would you consider yourself more detail oriented or more "big-picture" oriented? Very much detail oriented If you find a job that you like, you will find that you do good work. Once you do good work, at a job that you like, chances are that growth opportunities will present them...

Re: Job Help/Career Advice

SonicHKS is actually right. Lol. I really don't have a lot of motivation when it comes to jobs. Just like I never had motivation in school after 5th grade after my parents divorce. It really is tough to make it in this world nowadays when you are expected to lie and deceive to keep your job and be a...

Re: Job Help/Career Advice

When I say I'm not a people person I mean in a retail environment. I like my coworkers a lot. I have liked my coworkers at pretty much every job. I just don't like direct customer service stuff is what I meant. I took engineering graphics at greenville tech but it's only a certificate as I'm not a v...

Job Help/Career Advice

I normally don't post personal things on forums especially when I'm a new member. But I just have no idea what kind of jobs I should look for. I am at a crossroads between what I always thought I wanted to do and the harsh reality of it. I always thought I wanted to work on cars for a living. ...
