Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

I did a full brake job, fronts and rears(at different times) . The noise had actually gone away once I did the rears(so it didn't just pop up lol) . For a long time, actually. So maybe I'm looking in the wrong area. I'm not too worried about it but I would like to figure it out before it becomes a r...

I think there should be like some type of Fit Si or something. I'd totally rock one of those.

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

Glad to see the forum still kicking. Also, I figure since a lot of the guys I remember still post, I have a question. I did a brake job for my car not too long ago, but this problem just cropped up. Car squeaks now and then when I take off from a dead stop or when putt putting around at slow speeds....

Re: Acura Civic

Where the hell is my new RSX? Either way, this actually doesn't look bad. They redid that horrible grill, but I too worry about it cannibalizing the TSX sales. Oh well. Only time will tell I guess.

Re: I'm not stepping on my brake pedal!

i usually keep the brake at least part-way down - not just since i'm liable to roll back a little without realizing it at first, but also in case someone comes behind me. there have been times when i thought if anything i was heading downhill at a stop, then i rolled back when i let off the brakes ...

Re: How close do you follow after taking off from a light?

I've had people just gun it and ride my bumper during a shift. I just don't get it. It doesn't happen nearly as much as when I started, but some people are just jerks regardless. I had one guy start throwing his arms up in frustration. Yes. It would have made such a huge difference because the guy i...

Re: I'm not stepping on my brake pedal!

I tend to leave my foot on the brake on the off chance somebody just assumes I'm moving and guns it. I had that happen one time and the light wasn't even green :| .

Re: How do you properly change your transmission fluid?

Drain from the drain bolt, replace washer, torque bolt. Fill from the VSS hole. 2 quarts. Done and done. OP, you have a Vic. If you're looking for another MTF, I suggest Redline. I've had it in my car since I originally replaced the old fluid and it's a night and day difference.

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

Haven't been on here in forever. I ended up dropping my online class because of work so I'll be done next semester. Still debating on what I'll actually be doing once I'm done. I should probably at least dip my toes in the water and try and get a part time job. Been on the fence and I think the prob...

Re: What are you playing now? (video game thread)

I haven't really been playing my PS3 very much. A lot of Netflix to be honest. When I do get around to a serious session, it's always Skyrim. The problem is once I start playing, I can't stop  .

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

I'd probably get another Honda of some sort. Maybe a Civic Si or something. I like the combination of good fuel economy with the ability to have fun while driving it. wish i could find an Si, and if i did i would expect it to be riced out...did find a gsr (and a gs which is good enough and has leat...
