Re: Toyota FT-86 concept, interesting!
I'd hit it. I'm going to be curious to see the final specs on this, and to see what the differences between the Subaru and Toyota version will be.

Feasibility of Sexual Encounters: 1/5 - Maybe for a girl that thinks robots are cool and appreciates a clean house, or really loves the fact that she won't need to vacuum. But in general you will probably come of as a nerd who wastes large sums of money. I think you're approaching this part the wro...

Re: 2010 Mazdaspeed3
I've actually revised my opinion on this car's looks a little after seeing one in the flesh. Yesterday I saw a bright red one being driven by a smoking hot blond, and I have to say that this car looks much better in person than it does in pictures. It looks very sharp and aggressive. I guess it just...

Re: Just a couple of cars I saw lately
I have a feeling that both Mazda's MX5 redesign and their new "RX" car that are both coming in a few years are going to be something special. Guess we'll have to wait and see though.

That is a good question. A Mazdaspeed Minivan would be insanely bad-ass.scionkid wrote:On an unrelated note, I wonder where's the Mazdaspeed5.

Re: Ken Block showing noobs how its done
I agree with one of the comments, stupid shit-talking noobs who sit at home and play this on their gaming consoles all day freak out like little girls with the real thing (to our great amusement), while those of us who would dream of sitting in the passenger seat here get to only watch the youtube ...

Re: 2010 Mazdaspeed3
I hate it. Not only is that goofy smile on the front terrible (not the fact that it's smiling, but rather the execution), they basically went the opposite direction from the original and made it flashy and ostentatious with that hood scoop and other borderline-rice additions. One of the main selling...

Oh I see what you're saying now. Yeah I'd try sitting closer. There should still be a slight bend in your knee when the clutch pedal is fully depressed.

Re: foot sliding up on clutch pedal
You shouldn't have your foot on the clutch at all unless you are disengaging it to change gears. That's why the dead pedal is there, to rest your foot on. What it sounds like you are doing is called "riding the clutch" and leads to unnecessary premature clutch wear. http://en.wikipedia.org...

Re: Just a couple of cars I saw lately
And I say I haven't bought a Miata yet just in case they ever make a fixed-roof version like the Z3 coupe ;). They actually did have a coupe version of the NB Miata, although it never made it into production. It had a roofline very similar to the FD RX7 and was pretty much gorgeous. Mazda blew an o...

Re: Toilet paper
I agree with you all about the immune system thing. That's why I rarely take any medicine for any reason at all unless I'm extremely sick. That's how my mom brought me up and it makes sense to me. I think the reason I haven't been sick at all in many years (even when I'm around sick people) is beca...

Re: Bill O'Reilly + others
Hanging it the heretical way (p|) can cause the paper to billow and unwrap strangely and can make it more difficult to tear off. Hanging it the righteous way (q|) leaves the paper neatly wrapped and allows it to dispense more smoothly. What kind of screwy dispenser do you have that makes you struggl...

Re: Bill O'Reilly + others
I don't think this is necessarily an issue with politics per se as it is a problem with people trying to force their opinions on others and being unwilling or unable to see another person's point of view. People of this type can be found representing just about any political leaning, religion, etc. ...

Re: Just a couple of cars I saw lately
I usually only see pretty boring cars around where I live, but I saw this today while getting groceries. Unfortunately I only had my crappy cell phone camera with me. Not an M sadly, but I absolutely love the Z3 Coupe. I've never seen one "in the flesh" before. DSC00034.JPG DSC00035.JPG DS...
