Re: "Faking" HDR Photos

yup just a big mashup, it's just that when you modify an original picture 3x to get diff exposures and mash em together it doesn't look as good as actually taking it as 3 photos at different exposures.

Re: "Faking" HDR Photos

The only way to make HDR look as good as HDR looks is to actually have HDR.
I've seen some tutorials on how to fake it but nothing compares to the real deal IMO.

Re: Tools To Start Working On Cars?

Damn a torque wrench is so handy, and a good socket and ratchet set is a must.

I like this thread too! More recommendations are a must! This forum is lacking DIY tutorials :P

Re: Why's my car bucking?

Happens to my car too, but not at 1700 rpm, my throttle is quite steady. When I'm going under 1000 rpm in 1st my car starts to buck a bit, I just suspect that my car is just incapable injecting gas evenly at such a light throttle.

Re: NYC Auto Show

Auto shows seem to get more and more boring. Nothing special to see. I went to the Vancouver Auto show, pretty much just the Reventon, Lotus Evora, and the Mercedes Gull Wing. Just doesn't seem to give anything new or exciting.

The only reason to save a clutch by doing all the necessary precautions, is so that you can rip the shit out of it on autocross/random irresponsible burnouts.

Re: Taxation in Canada

Canada Politics is a joke. for one thing every party on an ideological standpoint is pretty much the same, and the taxes go wasted away. I just with that our tax dollars would go towards something, like it does in Sweden and other european countries. May be a little socialist, but come on, our taxat...

Re: Do you remember the first time you drove stick?

I stalled about 20 times in the car when I drove it for the first/second time.

In my defense my friend taught me later and said it was GAS FIRST, CLUTCH NEXT.

The first/second time I drove was with my dad.. he said Clutch first gas, second.

Re: 2010 Chicago Auto Show

Why do you guys keep saying GM and Ford its about Toyota and how they obviously lied to Federal Officials. Sounds like jail time and a lot of fines. I wonder how much longer Toyota can keep the employee level this high when they have to start paying the law-suits from the 38 people who died in your...
