Belt whistle
Lately, my Celica's been making that whistling noise, it's the belt isn't it? Is this something I need replacing ASAP?

Re: Does anyone else have a clutch with split personalities?
I guess it can seem that way, but I really think it's the driver. Like in the afternoons during rush hour, and I'm tired and angry at traffic, I won't drive good obviously.
I really like your car by the way, was about to get a silver one before I got the GT-S

Re: Wanting to buy a used car
You're not talking about me are you!?! My GT-S is in perfect condition mechanically! But if you live around my area or in Michigan in general, hit up xceedspeed, I saw a really clean 1986 Corolla GT-S, it's a red hachi roku. http://www.xceedspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111818 http://s135.photob...

I saw her on Leno a long time ago, and she was talking about how she started drifting because of her son, and she went to Japan with him to drift. Pretty cool

Re: Just installed short shifter
Crap, I'm looking at short shifters online so I can't really be sure if it'll work.
I know that B&M makes one for my car, but I need to know for sure before dropping $150.00+

Re: Just installed short shifter
Thread revival for a small question.
When you buy a short shift kit, does it usually come with a knob? Also, do you have to buy a short shifter that's made specifically for your car model? The Celica one's that I've found are pretty pricey...

Re: MSN 9/04/08: "Stickshifts long lost Art"
But, as the Lantern says, don't count on the manual becoming the transmission of the future, at least in the U.S. "Fewer than 9% of new cars in the United States are manuals, and that figure is set to drop to 6% by 2012," the Lantern writes. That's quite the sad statistic. I'm sure one da...
