I wonder how they do that. How would you convert CO to CO2? Very simple, just add another oxygen from the air into it: 2CO + O2 → 2CO2 The cats also convert more carbon dioxide by doing this: 2CxHy + (2x+y/2)O2 → 2xCO2 + yH2O where 2CxHy = unburnt hydrocarbons (unburnt and partially-burnt fuel)

Yep Sypher is right. Also the performance springs are usually thicker and stronger. If you want to be 100% sure just ask a mechanic to check them for you when you go change your oil and/or do the tire rotations next time. You can also go ask those performance shop guys, pertaining you are interested...

Is it the same effect as buying the Octane Booster they sell at Autozone? Depends on what kinds of octane boosters, and watch out for the numbers/points increase that they claim. Most of them say they increase 4-7 points of octane number, which actually means 0.4-0.7 point of octane number that the...

Well I need to know where that noise comes from before I can say if it is normal or not. Is it from the clutch like other said or is it just from the tires as they rotate? And that boost your friend made happened BEFORE the downshift completed with the clutch still on the floor or AFTER the downshif...

The first post is nothing new, yet the way you described it will cause a lot of confusion (we will see :P ), and I maybe the only one who understand what you described.

For the second post, argument over high rpms being better on what? On The Fast and the Furious 3?

I believe the rear fog lights will let the driver behind you see your car easily in heavy fog so that they don't rear end you. The tail lights alone probably won't be bright enough in heavy fog.

 Yeah it is sad but true. I think we should start having a highway merging road test from now on so that they can receive proper training on that in driver's ed. I personally think this is more important than parallel parking (although parallel parking is important too).
