The worst is the UK. They use both systems in some places, and sometimes it's tough to tell when the signs are in miles and when the signs are in km per hour.

I should have been more clear. Using the e-brake is more like a power slide because the rear wheels lose traction. It's not a power slide in the sense that you use power to cause the slide, sorry. I was taught that drifting should be four-wheel drift, which is why I think of using the e-brake as mor...

If you use the e-brake, you're not really drifting. It's more of a power slide then.

Most people don't know how to drive very well. If you do know how to drive a RWD car, you will be much better off; when RWD cars lose traction and start sliding it's simple to correct it - You turn opposite the way of the skid. And sometimes, just letting up on the gas is good enough to regain tract...

A few things to keep in mind. Dropping the clutch all at once may result in wheel spin. You're not going anywhere during this time, so it's slowing you down. It's easier on the clutch, but harder on the other parts. Slipping (feathering) the clutch is hard on the clutch, but you'll get moving right ...

There have been several cars that have charged more for a manual transmission over the years. I thought the 'Vettes in the '90s charged extra for the 6-speeds. Currently, the Infiniti G35 Coupe charges extra for a manual. The Mazda RX-8 also charges more for a manual transmission. The manual isn't a...
