I went car-looking with my sis and test drove the a3 2.0T stick. Pedal feel is light, but lack of torque means that no-gas starts are not that easy to achieve. I don't like the shifter feel that much feels too rubbery bubut I am sure that a short shift kit would be worthwhile. If I were you I would ...

My guess would be that the extra torque and hp the STi have would mean better acceleration from 70-140mph??? I hard-launched both cars from 0-60 and both felt the same. However, I got the chance to drive the evo to triple digit speeds where it suffers from lack of torque....

I agree with the others. It depends on the car but I have been told that the higher the number of cylinders you have the more pressure/force it takes to push down the clutch. For example, a V8 engine would be harder to press than a 4 cylinder car. Don't know if that is true though. It's something I...

I dont want to be offensive, but a home made CAI screams ricer  Right, because the 200 dollar piece of the same aluminum pipe I can buy and make it myself is so much better. If Im gonna buy something that does nothing for the car anyways, I rather have soemthing that looks good... not j...

Correct me if I am wrong. I thought that chirping of tires of any kind should be discouraged because it only unbalance the car. I think learning to heel-toe smoothly should be the key towards success on the track.

hahahahahahahahhaaaa.....that would probably happen if I drive a Dodge Ciper Hennessy Edition with 1000hp and 1100lb/ft of torque. But then again, the car has 6 gears to play with and I doubt if I would be so stupid to wreck the car by putting it in reverse on the highway

I personally don't like big wings, I like small ones. They look more sleek to me, but just my preference I don't like wings either. Makes the car look cheap IMO. Also they block rear visibility which aint good. But I guess its needed in the STi and Evo since they pack horsepower in such a light car...

hahahahahaha you're right i totally forgot about brake torquing in an auto. At least that way you only destroy the brakes and not the tranny which is much harder to replace.

have you looked at the option of leasing your car? If you have a good credit rating you should be able to do it. Otherwise you can lease it under your parents' name. I think it should be cheaper $3-400 a month?? I don't know anything about leases but that is something you should look into if you wan...

I would suggest you save your money because the performance gains would be negligible, minimal at best. Like Transam said, you can custom make your own...save the money for your Z....maybe you can lease one soon...
