First things first... Acuras & 6MT's ftw! Second, I didn't think higher octane gas made you lose hp (at least not 40-60 hp), but I did know it leads to timing and knocking issues, which I would imagine will have an adverse effect on your engine's ultimate performance and lifespan. Here's an arti...

it would have been a suspension, if convicted of the accused speed, but the cop lied to you about impounding the car, at least i'm pretty sure. I think 24mph over is reckless driving, and they can do whatever they feel like. Couple of sites GA drivers should probably be aware of... http://www.dds.g...

i live in Atlanta too btw, it's all in good fun ;) and i definitely LOVE the fact that i can be going 90mph in a 55mph zone on the hwy and i'm really not going much faster than everybody else :D Ah yes...it's a good thing. Actually the scariest moment in my driving career (and luckiest...) was when...

Hmm...I take exception with all the ATL bashing. I'm an ATLien (Atlanta native for those who aren't familiar with Outkast) and now that I live in New England, I wish I was back around Atlanta drivers. Also, you have to remember that a very large amount of the people who live in Atlanta are imports f...

I hear ya...when I first got my subwoofer installed, I over-revved a few times and may have even stalled as a result of not being able to hear the engine anymore...the really tricky thing about having alot of bass in your car is that you can't hear it nor can you feel your engine speed due to all of...

I live in Sandy Springs which is a sea of 7 series and painter's vans. I see Jomo lives near the ricer capital of the world, Duluth. Duluth is also the ridiculous traffic enforcement capital of the world Sandy Springs...that explains why you don't see the "heavy chevys" so much. Duluth is...

Thanks. There are a bunch of guys in the NE that use their goats as daily drivers. Supposedly, you can slap some blizzaks on it and your fine. I don't know first hand though, I've never driven in snow. :P To clarify, both the '05 & '06 have the LS2. The 04 has the LS1, but some of the fastest G...

mmmm....black.... Agreed. Also, great car. If I were back in ATL instead of up here in CT, that would also be my car. If not that car, then some other RWD V8. Unfortunately, that car in a New England winter would not be too safe... great car though...plus this year is the "last" year they...

What kinda milage are you getting with your TSX, and how does VTEC feel :P I mean, when the cams switch over, do you actually feel it and hear a difference? I get about 24-25 mpg overall. 30+ mpg highway. All this is contigent on how fast I want to cruise on the highway. 85 mph = 3500 rpm = 27-28 m...

I think Lotus are exotic cars... As far as 6-speeds go, I'll just comment on my car's tranny and ratios: 3.267:1 first gear ratio, 1.88:1 second gear ratio, 1.355:1 third gear ratio, 1.028:1 fourth gear ratio, 0.825:1 fifth gear ratio, 0.659:1 sixth gear ratio and 3.583:1 reverse gear ratio As you c...

...added a couple of interior pics since it seems like that's the thing to do in here... I suppose we always gotta show off our sticks and can't just leave anything to the imagination, eh? see my original post on page 4.

BTW, there's some nice Z's on this board.

Bringing this thread back to life...

Figured since I just posted pics of my pup and myself in the other SS picture thread, I should also post pics of the TSX... http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j288/Mr_Action_Jackson/TSXShinin.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j288/Mr_Action_Jackson/TSXBody.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j2...

read it :D btw i notice you said rev-matching seems more efficient than double clutching. you don't mean that when you tried double clutching you weren't also rev-matching do you? if so there's your problem ;) Well, if I didn't rev-match when double-clutching it would be quite efficient...although ...
