Re: Windows 7 XP
I really disliked XP. It was nice because it was the first decent OS, but i didn't really take a liking to it. When vista Came out - I was extremley happy. Never looked back. I cannot - for the life of me figure out why people love XP so much. i think it's psychological. The timing of the release, t...

Re: Who here shoots? (Gun related)
the springfield XDM IS offered in a 9mm configuration. It is an excellent pistol; if you've shot the XD do not let that turn you away from trying an XDM - it is a diffrent animal. I am a die hard Glock fan but i prefer the XDM over glocks depending on the configuration. Many female officers cannot e...

Re: Who here shoots? (Gun related)
What else should I try in my search for a pistol that fits me? What handguns have you shot? and what did you not like about them? The common complaints with the 2 weapons you listed: The USP: Snappy trigger and over all - snappy firing. - trademark of USP design and high price Glock: Some do not li...

Re: Who here shoots? (Gun related)
I really enjoy the Springfield XDM - not so much a fan of the XD. I truly appreciated the sights - very beautiful and narrow where it needs to be - totally diffrent weapon than the XD. The "Mushy" trigger grew on me too - I really wish I could test this weapon on a simulated tactical situa...

Re: Legal question - laptop in car
Utilizing a laptop while driving is safer than texting in my experience. When I do ride-alongs with the police agency I am applying for - the laptop almost feels second nature and if anything makes me more alert. In police use - it is used for much what you will be using it for - in a program called...

Whatever happend to a DIY section?
Are there still people interested in having a DUI section on this site? There are diys all over the internet for most topics..however, the thing about us putting our OWN diys on this site are that we can provide help and stuff for the people following it..since we all know each other, we can ask sma...

Re: spark plugs
iridium plugs are only worth a crap on cars with coil packs..to my knowledge, the original design of iridium was to work well with that type of ignition system.. your car will probably run best on the cheapest plugs NGK or Denso makes.
