Since we have this nifty new forum and all...
Has anyone ever used one of those dent removal kits you can pick up at Wallyworld or Ricerzone? They any good?
Have any other tricks that work for dents that you cant hammer out?

Yes, I have used some of them. I have used those suction cups and whatnot to pull them. I must say I was disappointed.
The problem is, that once the metal is stretched when the dent is made, it's hard to do much about it with a suction cup. If the dent is large, you can pull it out but it's going to be visible and will most likely just pop back in place. Again, once metal stretches it's hard to undo it.

Its not so much stretched as it is reversed. Instead of going out, the metal goes in.
Isnt there some trick with a hair dryer and ice or something?

Dented metal is, in fact, stretched during impact.

Well yes, but its not like crazy dented, more distorted than anything. Pretty much what Im saying is that it should be completely reversable to the point where only I will ever notice it.
