quasiturbine engines?
I had some qustions on quasiturbine engines. My brother and I were debating on this on the way to school. 1) are they mass produced or even produced at all. 2) are they more efficient than rotary engines are not. I said rotaries were more efficient he said quasitubines were. What do you guys know about this topic?
Take it from 4th to 2nd and take the corner no problem ^_^

They have not been mass produced, but the patent holders are looking into building a demo model.
In theory, they are more efficient than a rotary engine (more or less their target competitor), however, that has yet to be proven.
Good debate!

I guess that's what Steve meant...
EDIT: oops, too late
EDIT2: and the joke doesn't work if the name is pronounced in German (which would sound somewhat like VUNN-kell)

well thats what I would have said but I found out about the quasitubine and the stogen engines which were also pistonless. Mainly any engine that is pistonless runs on steam or is a rotary.JackBauer wrote:I don't know much about this engine at all, techinically, isn't any pistonless engine rotary?
BTW if you were wondering the Stogen engine died out beacuse of the high risk rate. way to many explosions.
PS all these are branches off of the rotary
