Greetings from NC

Post by benneunsinger »

Hello all!
I just bought my first manual car (a 99 Miata, Brilliant Black) on Feb 6, I am pretty new to driving stick, but I have got it down for the most part. Before this I was driving a 2007 Accord, which was nice, but I wanted something that was more fun to drive. Still haven't got tags yet, I'm in the middle of polishing the valve cover.

Welcome, welcome! One of these days I'll go for a 2 seater since I'm childless and plan to stay that way.

Welcome! Nice car. I remember I drove a fellow a forum member's Miata once. I'm way too tall for one...and for many cars. But these a great cars.

Slightly belated welcome! I have a friend who bought a very similar vehicle when he moved down to Florida for work. His leaks oil, but other than that, pretty sturdy little car - considering it's closing on 20 years old, that's not bad at all.
