Hey all! I just bought my first manual transmission car four months ago - a 2010 Ford Focus. I love driving it, although I'm not 100% consistent with my shifts yet. I'm definitely hooked though!
I'm finishing up my fifth year of college right now, and I have one more before I graduate, but I can't wait. I've got one project car sitting in my parents yard (a 1991 Honda CRX) and an entire slew of dream cars in my head. I'm looking forward to spending some time here!
Oh, and for those interested, here are some more pictures of the car.

Thanks! I really like the grill as well. All the other Focuses that I've seen from this generation have the silver grill, so the black really stands out to me. I've only seen one or two others with it. It's a great car, gets decent fuel mileage and is pretty quick when I need it to be.ClutchDisc wrote:Welcome!!!

Re: Newbie from Alabama
Welcome to the board fellow Focus-ed one.
Is that a 2 door, I can't quite tell by the angle in the one picture that my work computer would pull up. If so, those aren't very common in my area. I almost kind of like yours specifically, but I'm not a fan overall of the generation.
There have been two from that generation in my family. My mom's was head-cold mucus green before it was killed in an accident. My dad's is cherry red.

Yup, it's a 2-door! It's pretty unique for a Focus.
