New member from Texas

Post by hayden992 »

Hello all, I am a student in North Texas who just bought my first car after driving the '93 Prelude that my parents bought me for the past 4 years. I purchased a 2013 Dart Aero with the 1.4L Turbo. It is a 6 speed and so far I am absolutely loving it. Here are a few pictures for y'all

This may be the first Dart on this forum. How do you like it so far?

I like the idea of the Dart, but I'm worried about it because Dodge isn't exactly known for their reliability. Not that it's really the next appropriate vehicle for my situation anyway, but it's certainly got a good look to it.

It's an Alfa. I won't opine on whether that's better or worse.

For better or for worse, the engineers from Fiat Powertrain were surprised how much it WASN'T an Alfa when I showed them around inside the assembly plant.

Welcome!

On an unrelated note, using the term aero annoys me. Aero was reserved for the fastest Saabs. Using it for the slowest version of an econobox is offensive to my nomenclature sensibilities.

Interesting, I Was just thinking, when I was looking at a Dart that there were no members that had one. Anyways, how do ya like it? I found the Rallye with the black accents on the front bumper better looking than the SE and the SXT. The SXT atleast had nicer rims.

Welcome OP.

It looks pretty sweet.

He can pull the italien stereotype, mentioned by Eddie Izzard, and go buzzing down the street randomly going "Ciao."

Wait? What? Do you work in an assembly plant?

I've never really figured out what you do, other than post hilarious descriptions of everyday things.
