Stouffer's lasagna
Re: Stouffer's lasagna
I have done the Stouffer's Lasagna on a few occasions. It takes forever to cook in the over, but is not bad. The Stouffer's Chicken and Rice Bake is also not bad. A box is around $6.88 at Wal Mart. Still cheaper than dinner out at Applebees.

Re: Stouffer's lasagna
By the way, frozen veggies are often better than fresh because they were frozen fresh and the distributed rather than fresh veggies that lose some of their freshness before they hit the shelves.Squint wrote:There are a few more than that, but it's not a bad way to look at frozen things. They typically have less nutrients than the fresh versions, and (opinion to follow) don't taste as good as something fresh. Obviously, some things have to come frozen. *shrug*AHTOXA wrote:The only frozen food I buy are frozen veggies that I steam. And ice-cream. Not if you do what we did this weekend and go to the farmer's market to buy them But yes, there is a point. It depends on if you have local produce available.

No doubt. That's an exception. We also grow our own in the backyard at home.

Yeah, my wife wants a garden, but a small 1 BR apartment is very good for growing plants... and having space to sleep.wannabe wrote:i'd have to grow mine in pots....i live in an apartment. some day i'll have a garden

That is a valid point, though she would then prove none of it was illegal and feed them wonderful desserts.
On second thought, no one gives a crap about drug use in WV, everyone is on drugs already.

Re: Stouffer's lasagna
The meat one is in my freezer right now. I was about to make it the other day but it takes 56 minutes in the oven, and I hate soggy microwaved tv-dinner type meals, so I said f*ck it

Re: Stouffer's lasagna
Dude, lasagna is inherently soggy whether it's from the oven or the nuker.
I sometimes cook microwaveable meals in the oven, and small stuff almost always in the toaster oven, but I've never tried Stouffer's in the oven...I might want to give that a try sometime.
