Awesome seats, those look really supportive? They definitely don't look like stock Tercel seats.

Props on a clean Tercel

The seats are from a 1993 Toyota Paseo.

You think that's bad? How about having to remove engine mounts to replace the serpentine belt...now THAT is nasty! (1997 Pontiac Grand Am 3.1L V6)

You know what? f**k that right there. If somebody paid me, sure... But there's no way in hell I'd just do that shit...

It's been having minor issues since I hit 150k. Most recently I've gotten some slight engine pinging. In the past week I've replaced the spark plugs, wires, oxygen sensor (needed to be replaced anyway), and cleaned the EGR valve. Nothing I tried seemed to fix it. I might try cleaning the MAF sensor and replacing the fuel filter and thermostat whenever I have enough money.

I'll be checking for vacuum leaks and testing the fuel pump and injectors too.

Nice. I have a soft spot for Tercels... my aunt has a red 2-door 1990 Tercel that she brought home on my first birthday (back when she used to live with us). She tells me I christened that car with my drool. Base model with a 2-speaker radio. Only one side mirror. No hubcaps. Anyways it's got about 250k kilometers on it (including multiple Vancouver-California trips) and still alive and kicking. She's kept the car through two Camrys and one Escape. And it averages 7L/100km.

...and I learned standard on it. Yup, soft spot for sure...

My Legend was triggering the knock sensors a a little bit at a certain RPM before I sold it. I ran some seafoam thru the crankcase for about 50 miles before the next oil change and it seems to help with ticking/overall noise, and I don't know if it was related but the knock sensors pretty much stopped.
