BMW 128i and 135i

Post by CGMSTI »

BMW releasing a new series, the one series. 128i and 135i, both receiving the same engine from their 3 series siblings. the 128i will get the 328's engine and the 135i will get the 335's.

It doesn't look bad either. If I had to choose between 135i and 335i I'd probably of taken the 135i. Same look, just a bit shorter. Nice interior. Don't know why BMW would release a car that would damage the sales of its most popular series though.

There is a coupe form for 3 series. It looks almost like the coupe 1 series. Except a bit longer. Don't really like the new M3 styling though. Hood bulge looks kinda... weird.

Looks pretty cool. if the 135 has the twin turbo's of the 335i, then WOW... that's gonna be hell of a machine!

Wow the 135i has 306 hp? Not bad. For $35,000 that's not bad at all. I'd rather have a GTO for that kind of money though, 100 more HP and for slightly less money...

i have a feeling the 135i is going to take away a good amount of 328i sales.

not really, because the people I see buying the 135i are the people that wants a fun smaller car. THe people who buys 328i are the people who wants class and interior room but dont care much for power

theres also people that buy 328's because they cant afford the 335's. those could now buy the 135 for the same price bracket as the 328 with equal or better performance than the 335 at the sacrifice of some space.

and then theres the people that buy stripper 328's just so they can say they drive a bimmer...now that the 3'er isnt the baby bimmer anymore, a good amount will be buying 128's just to "have a BMW".

look at how many people bought M-B c230 coupes when they were available....

The BMW 1-Series of cars have been out for a good few years in Europe. They were sold as the smallest rear wheel dirve you can get. However, the problem with them is they were crap!

A VW Golf is faster and has much more cargo and passenger space. The only reason to by a BMW 1 Series is to have BMW on your nose and arse.
