I brought my Grand Am in to a local shop to get a window motor replaced. The new motor sounded like a Shop Vac (they didn't make it but they should have noticed and returned it to the parts store), they put a bunch of miles on the car, and they spilled coffee on my dash/windshield somehow. You'd think they could at least have cleaned up the spill.

Nobody needs to lose their jobs over incidents like this, but they show a lack of respect for the customer. It really ticked me off when I would get my car back from the dealership and the radio was tuned to some other station with the volume turned up high....and yet some part of the repair not done properly. Like they were more concerned with listening to their favorite jams than in fixing my car. Do I expect that they don't listen to music as they work? No, but respect me enough to tune back to my last station, turn the volume down, and wipe up any soiled surfaces. I can respect someone who lies well, but not someone who doesn't even bother to cover up.

Are we at SS ready for the "Mobilegeddon?"

And yeah, RP and Cow, that would royally tick me off. I can say for a fact that almost all lot guys at big dealerships love cranking volume on every car and changing the station - they usually put it back and turn it down - but not always.

I only once almost defeaned some people about to go on a test drive.

So, I was in a parade over the weekend. Ahead of me a ways was a nice old Jag. The parade stopped for about 10 minutes and none of us could figure out why. Came upon a coolant puddle and about a block away was this Jag letting off spurts of steam/smoke.

That actually looks like a phone case with a cassette player graphics. I spy exposed camera lens in the corner.
