I guess you're right. I picked a random mid-range computer (599 euros, no monitor) and nearly equivalent components separately (714 euros) so I guess it's the same here. I'd say a computer becomes new when you upgrade the major components around which the rest of the 'puter is built, i.e. motherboard and CPU.
