Since when is an NSX ever $30,000 brand new? Last I heard, they were $60k+, with the later models over $80k

my co-worker was talking about this today.

from the story, i've concluded that a mugen SI is a civic SI with upgraded suspension, exhaust, corny ass spoiler, and some JDM stickers. the only thing is you're paying $30,000 for a civic

if i was that guy, i would kill myself

i like civics, but for $30,000, i'd buy something faster

well if you call it a $30k civic it sounds outrageous, but the thing is it comes "pre-Mugen'ed" with full factory warranty.

$2000 Mugen rims
$600 BFG g-Force KDW tires
$2000 Mugen suspension
$2000 Mugen body kit
$1000 Mugen cat back exhaust
$590 badging/misc stuff/rarity factor

so you have to see it as a regular civic si with value added mugen accessories....its perfect for someone who was already planning to Mugen-ify their civic.

who am i kidding...its a $30k civic....

i do like the rims though.

theres 1 of those in toledo, at brown honda, but i dont care to stop and look at it.
everybody on toledotuners is all like ZOMFG mugen SI, gotta see it.

i dont care about rice. the fart cannon with mugen stamped in it sure makes it so much faster than a regular SI. factory rice but the rims are kinda nice.

Too bad the Mugen Si is still only 200 horsepower, and <140 lb/ft of torque

For $30,000, you could get a Mazdaspeed3, which literally has double the torque and would run rings around a Mugen Si, for that and still have $6,000 left over for new wheels, coilovers and exhaust. For $30,000, you could get a BMW 328i, Infiniti G35, Mercedes-Benz C300. But hey, what do "they" care. Mugen Si whoops everyone's ass, right? "I gots Mugen springz, yo, make turnz at 90MPH, whoop yo azz."
