I don't know what "rapist beard" is, but it sounds funny. I picked that one.

I just shaved. I would grow a beard if it weren't for my parents making fun of me for being in the hair-on-your-face-but-not-enough-to-be-a-beard-so-you-look-like-a-pubescent-rapist stage

I chose the one where I said I would join you in the manliest act of growing a beard but last time I tried (back in june) it started growing in nicely then about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks in it kinda looked patchy so I just kept the goatee part. I say do it.

I snapped some pics right before I shaved it. What's SS's opinion on my teenaged attempt at facial hair.

We could all participate in Grow-vember when it comes around.

LOL I'm totally there. But rather than giving up on it, I just ran with it  . I have a sweet underchin beard and crustache, but for some reason I can grow no hair at all above my jawline :? .

Similar to pedophile beards

paul34 wrote:is your fiance cool with it? Because otherwise don't even think about it.
No she is not. She hates facial hair. And I havent been clean shaven since June of last year, so clearly I care.

1) For my mother
2) For my job
3) The fact a beard is so damn itchy agh

Both of you man up.
The itchy stage lasts for like two days max. Once youre past it then its like having a personal face blanket.
People not liking it is their own problem. They can put up or shut up.

As for Growvember, I say we should all do it.

I love that video. There's a picture around my circle of friends of me wearing some rapist glasses that were actually safety glasses we found in the wood shop.

As for Growvember I am all for it if there are some other people in it with me. It gives me an excuse to grow out some facial hair. I can convince people that I'm in a "contest" and not just a weirdo.

I will do Growvember. Just remind me when it comes around and Ill stop maintaining the beard region. The neck beard will be maintained though. Neck beards suck.

Edit: All who participate should shave all but a fantastic mustache and take a picture when its done. Mustaches are hilarious.

I'll try to remember. I'll make a thread about it at the end of October.

I tend to get pretty bad razor burn anyway so it should be good for me once I can get past the initial itch.

YES, I'm glad you want to grow a beard despite your fiancee's preferences. Mindlessly complying to her wishes will only lead to being whipped! Sometimes you just gotta say "fck you, I'm a man."

Oh and you need to grow an awesome beard, not just an ordinary one. Get creative.

e.g. this guy knows what he's doing:

I am happy to see that the 'No.' option hasn't been selected yet.

Inevitable smart-ass votes to prove me wrong don't count.
