Mounting: Emergency Window Breaker

Synchros shot? Weird noises while shifting? Not sure what needs to be replaced?

I feel exactly the same way. I'd like a manual driver's window and the rest electric. I have no need for an electric driver's window.

I prefer manual windows in my car. The rear side windows don't open and I can easily reach the crank on the passenger side if I have to open it. Less things to break down.

stop, reach over and roll them up\down. not that difficult. same thing your supposed to do for a cell phone call.

personally i like manual everything in my truck. i have manual locks, manual windows and manual transmission. the only things i like to help my driving experience for me is A\C or heat, power steering and a hydraulic clutch. everything else is just shit to break later on and i don't wanna deal with that.

I hate this. My rear windows dont open and there is absolutely no reason for them not to. Theres more than enough space in the body for the engineers to have designed a roll down window. If that wouldnt have worked, there is no reason not to have a minivan or pickup style pop-out window. Saabs two generations before had them, and it was a horrible decision on GM's part to discontinue such an inexpensive and incredibly useful feature.

As with manual transmissions, the sad reality is that most people just don't want to open their windows -- and they especially don't care about rear windows. They use air conditioning even if a nice breeze from an open window would do the job better.

Psh, if GM could do 1 thing right, they wouldn't have the US Gov't as a majority shareholder.

Airflow, rear passenger comfort, sticking things out of, cooling the car in the summer, ease of loading (roll down windows), no reason not to, I said so, etc.
