Synchros shot? Weird noises while shifting? Not sure what needs to be replaced?

i tried putting the key in the door...it wouldn't go in...no amounts of shoving would do.

Next time, don't rush things. Take your car to a drive-in movie, then to a drive-thru restaurant, then play a little mood music (something by The Doors?) and I'm sure that key will slip right in there.

i'll try that when i get off work tonight...i'll let you know how it goes....

but seriously...i can't get the tip of the key in....either the door key or the trunk key....i have a serious issue here guys!

Is it possible that the passenger door is NOT the original and the lock cylinder is from the donor vehicle?
If it's original, maybe the lock is rusted. Try some light oil, like 3-in-1, or hose it down with WD-40, or Kroil, to see if you can break it free.

hmmm i wouldn't know. i'll try some wd40 sometime....i don't believe we have it at the house...but i'm sure my parents have some....
