brand new focus
I bought her yesterday had to have it shipped from a holding facility because it's a stick she was built on Aug 1st and never sat on a lot. Very fun to drive very nice shifter feel and clutch. My 02 Saturn sl head cracked and I decided to move on it has cost me quite a bit in the last few months. I was sad at first I drove an s series for 5 yrs but this focus makes it hard to stay sad.

Nice new ride. Based on other members' experience with newer foci and similar fords, it looks like you made a good choice.

Nice ride! I didn't learn until recently that in 2012 or 2013 (can't remember which year the statistic was from) the Focus was the top selling car in the world (now re-read that with a Jeremy Clarkson voice).

Of course it is. I wouldn't buy anything else had to have it special delivered for me because it was a stick apparently they aren't very common.InlinePaul wrote:Looks good. Main thing is it's a stick!

That's the spirit! No compromise. Gotta fight against the desires of the masses. Automatics give me the creeps--literally, when I sit at a light in an automatic there is a strong tendency for it to creep forward. Seems like a very dangerous setup to me.dakta1420 wrote:Of course it is. I wouldn't buy anything else ...InlinePaul wrote:Looks good. Main thing is it's a stick!

That "Creep" is what people have come to know and love and expect from their slushboxes.
For Dual Clutch Transmissions, they have to program in some clutch engagement when the driver's foot comes off the brake pedal, so it creeps forward just like Dog intended.

Easy 33-36 combined mileage. Pretty fun. Mrs. Sync is a bit of a bitch though.
