I had a 2001 Saturn SC1 3 door with a 5 speed. The guy that I sold it to is still driving it everyday. Was surprised how much I used that little 3rd door.

Once upon a time I wanted an SC2, 3 door. In 06 there was a 2000 5MT for $5k, but it apparently had transmission issues.

While the light weight of those cars makes them interesting candidates for go-fast upgrades, it'd be a shame to throw away the fuel economy for which they are so well known.
