I actually thought about that for a moment, but then I remembered that the Model T had a handbrake. What's the deal with that transmission brake?

I'm still thinking about doing HIDs or angel eyes. Would angel eyes be too ricey on a cheap Impreza?

When it comes to car modding I know nothing, so anything I do is likely to turn out ricey .

I really don't know what I want to do with the car right now. I'm just tossing out ideas.

Standardshift special bifurcation meet. I might be able to make it to that one. Image

You know, Canada is a cool place. You're welcome to come up without splitting someone in two.

I did. But now I'm scared  . I assume that you just happened to see my car in the lot.

Edit: Actually I just realized I took some of those pictures in the parking lot there.

Say, nice new ride man. Congratulations (4 mos late)!
Drove an '07 outback; loved the feel but it was hard for me to get used to the throttle/clutch. Seemed like they behaved differently each time I used them. Any problems adjusting to your Subie or was it just me?

It wasn't anything terrible, but it did take a few weeks to get a handle on the DBW throttle. It's got a fair bit of lag and I would stall it or "lug" it when I let the clutch out before the revs came up. It only took a day or so to get used to the clutch though. I really like the clutch in this car. It's got a lot of feel and I always know exactly where it's going to engage.

So now that I've finally got my internet issues sorted out I have a few questions.

1) I was thinking that I might go STI exhaust-wise. I know a lot of owners like to swap their exhausts out for aftermarket parts. I was thinking about maybe trying to score someones old STI pipes. Do you think this would work out well?

2) What do you folk think of CAIs?

That is all for now. Thanks kindly for the comments.
did you ever get an intake? i was thinking of just doing a K&N drop-in filter in my 02 but I'm not sure if it is worth it. The car is powerful enough for me as is, but a little more throttle response would be welcome (note: i am still getting used to the gas, brakes, clutch etc.)
