**New pics on page 2**

So, this is my first car, a 1994 Toyota Corolla DX with a 5-speed manual, which I affectionately call Brianna. I've loved this car since the day I got it. She has served me amazingly thus far, and I hope to be served for the coming years. This will always be the most sentimental of all my cars, to wrap it up, I guess, I love this car. A lot. Love ya Bri! :D

Got her on July 28th, 2007 (one of my best friend's birthdays). It was a hot Saturday and I had been out every weekend for 2 months looking for cars, and on the web 6-7 hours a day looking for cars. I saw her on the lot and as soon as I sat in it, I knew this was going to be my car. The dealer was showing me a newer Corolla without a tach and in worse condition, but this had everything I wanted in a car. I fell in love with it when I first drove it. When I finally nailed stick for the most part the second day, I literally had never felt better in my life. You know that feeling when you're really happy and your voice gets higher and the back of your throat feels a bit weird? That was the feeling.

Had many fun times in this car, hilarious times with my friends, deep conversations, great times with an awesome girl, and this car has taken my abuse surprisingly well, and for that I respect it. Love mixed with respect. What an awesome feeling.

New pics up!

Brianna is awesome. Clean as hell.

I drove a standard Geo Prizm once, and it was ballin' as hell except the 2nd and 3rd gear syncro was f'ed in the "a".

10 eProps.

Yes, I just looked at your facebook once again, you do like a lot of music that I like.

Nice to see that other people like Rise Against and Bad Religion!

edit: Check out the Rock Against Bush CDs, some of the music on those collections are simply fantastic!

If your engine is the 7afe, which I am pretty sure it it, you can relatively easily swap a 4age head onto it for a lil extra kick haha.

Quote:
Enlarging the capacity of an engine has been around as long as engines have, and that exact process for the 4AGE is not a new formula.

Again we turn to the 7A-FE.

Using a 7A-FE block again to make a big cube high revving engine is not a cheap or simple option. first up a custom set of pistons may be needed, companies such as Wiseco and Mahle can make custom pistons for you, but will not be cheap. The second part is a set of forged conrods, in place of the spindly, tooth pick 7A-FE rods. recently there has been a lot of need for forged 7A-FE rods for high comp and turbo motors and a few are now starting to provide them for the discerning buyer, although there still isnt a huge market for them.

The 7A-FE block is quite strong, but because its a grandma-spec engine the water galleries and oil galleries only the bare minimum of what is needed. This is again where your engine builder will need to be on the ball as the both the water and oil galleries will need to be opened up to allow greater flow.

Once the 7A-FE block has been assembled with the high comp pistons and forged rods, your head will need to go on. This can also be problematic as the 7A-GE now becomes an interference engine! Timing will need to be spot on to avoid bent valves and damage to the head.

The 7A-GE can also be bored out using an 83mm piston. The standard 7A-FE capacity is 1789cc, but using the 83mm pistons increases it to 1880cc or 1.9ltrs. Mark Yager (of Yager Performance) has been making these for a number of years for clubmans and will fit what ever head you want.

There are a lot of inherent problems in doing the 7AG conversion, but the benefits FAR out weigh the negatives. If Chris O’Shannessey can come outright 2nd for the year in IPRA then it cant be a bad thing!

What happened to your airbags?

It doesn't look like that car has ever been in an accident.

God damn, your car is f'ing clean.

The airbags came out in an accident, but the damage was fixed. All I have to do to bring it fully back up to code is get the sensors and install them, and install the bags and airbag module that I already have. Don't feel like it though, if anything, I'll just install the bags for the looks of not having a f**k up dash.

Thanks for the compliments though, I was amazed at how clean we (me and my dad) got it after months of being caked in salt and ice.

Yeah, that road salt can reek havoc on rust that's already formed on the door.

But it doesn't matter, and you can't see it.

I'll be willing to bet that you could get $3,000USD out of that car when you get it running correctly and if you keep it looking the way it is.

Excuse me for not going and reading your other thread, but did you get it to run correctly? if so what did it need?

I know that engine isn't very powerful, but it should have some balls.

Check for carbon tracking in the distributor and on the rotor and all the usual ignition components. That car should be really simple and cheap to do a tune up for.

I'm starting to think it's just my right foot and where I drive. I drove about 60 miles on the highway this tank, and tried to drive conservatively and got 24.7 mpg, which isn't stellar, but its better than what I've been getting. And I plan on running this thing into the ground (not in a bad way) I don't wanna sell my baby! :D
