Yes, we have another Mercedes. Currently resides at a dealership in Pompano Beach, FL, and on the 6th, dad and I are going to fly out to Miami and drive it back.
192,880 miles, 3L DOHC straight-6, 236HP, 4-speed auto, RWD, traction control, ABS, dual airbags (giggity), Pioneer deck, sunroof, and automatic climate control.
Made an offer of $3950, accpted, and then waived the dealer fee. Price to pay: $3600.

I hate your Californian rust-free cars. Had this car been in the salt belt, it would have cost 1000 bucks and would have been rusty all over.

This one actually isn't a California native. It currently resides down in Florida near Miami, where my dad and I are flying to on the 6th to drive it back.

WTF where's the rust? Jerk. Brand new cars don't look that rust-free by the time they arrive here.

Same difference. It's not in the snow belt.

Okay, I was wrong, it is a 3.2L straight-6. How funny. :?

That's all airbag in there, it has no glovebox. Technically the little drawer in the center console is the "glovebox."

Interesting seat design.

Motor a little bit torn apart. There's actually a cover that goes over the coils.

I will say this though, it has a lot of get up and go. I didn't even get to floor it yet.

Only problem is that it needs a center muffler. I smell an upcoming junkyard trip.

Did you end up not driving it back? The mileage barely increased.

Yeah, it was going to be a lot more expensive with hotel bills, foods, gas, etc than just having it shipped.

True, but a lot less fun. Road trips are boss.

So apparently Florida is not as rust-free as previously thought.

That would be the muffler, and those would be muffler patches.

How many mufflers are there, I assume like 20? If that one is slightly upstream, maybe you could replace it with a Borla XR1 or something. I imagine it would still be quiet with a slightly nicer tone. Or, you could just replace the engine with a 2JZ with a giant single turbo.

There's actually only the cat, that muffler, and the rear box. And it's also some funky two pipes in, one pipe out, and at about a 3" offset. It is not easy to replace it with anything other than OEM.
And no, 236HP is more than enough power to get this thing going pretty damn quick.
