2001 Honda Accord EX, 4-cylinder 5-speed. I love this car and got it for a great price ($4500 CAD) from a nice woman who babied it. First car I've really owned (not counting a 1982 Volvo wagon handed down as a teenager).
We live in a big city and don't drive much, but since our new baby arrived a good sized car has been a necessity!

very nice, looks perfect.
i really like those alloys, they make it look much better than the Honda hubcaps that the LX model comes with.

Wertt and Werty are going to confuse me
Re: Wertt's first car
Considering the age of the car that seems to be a decent price, but it's still pretty expensive.
Should've went for the V6.
Looks pretty clean though.

you couldn't get the accord with a V6 and manual until 03 model year and that was only the coupe. couldn't get a V6 manual Accord sedan until the 05 or 06 model. epic fail.Leedeth wrote:Considering the age of the car that seems to be a decent price, but it's still pretty expensive.

Re: Wertt's first car
Was "$4500 CAD" $4500 Canadian Dollars? If so, at the present exchange rate, that's looking like a better price. A good car with a know history is always worth a little more. Whatever you buy in life, soon after you pay for it someone will tell you you paid too much. The worms always come out after it rains.

$4500 Canadian, yes. Well everyone is entitled to their opinion on the price, but I got it for trade-in value, so I was happy. It was much less than any other I'd seen.
Re: Wertt's first car
I wanted to stay away from the V6-Auto combination in this generation as the transmission apparently fails quite often. Was very happy to find a 5-speed!Leedeth wrote:Considering the age of the car that seems to be a decent price, but it's still pretty expensive.
