Finally picked up my new Audi A5. Went straight to the tint shop for 35% all around. It looks darker in the pics than it does in real life. Anyway, I absolutely love this car...it is incredible to drive!

On to the pics---

Edit: added some new pics, some of which show the new dual exhaust system---

Nice! I love the interiors in VW/Audi cars.

Thanks. I need to take better interior shots. This one is better, but it's still not too good.

If it's wrong to want to make passionate love to a car then I don't want to be right.

Do they need to put the nav system in a cubby hole? Maybe that's a good thing...

Huh?

I think the screen is set back to keep it out of direct sunlight. On my 4Runner, the navigation screen is pretty much flush with dash, but at least the screen tilts to make it easier to see in direct sunlight.

It is beautiful! That interior is ultra classy ...

Any other mods planned?

Thanks. No plans to mod at all. I just love the way the car is set up as it is right now. I wouldn't really call them mods, but the only things I've done are:

1-tint the windows
2-turned off the "winking" LED lights. This is a common mod in Audi land where the LEDs stay illuminated when you're using the turn signals. Without the mod, the LEDs turn off only on one side--the side that has the turn signal flashing... I hate that because it looks like the LEDs are broken.

I might add a boost gauge because the car doesn't come with one at all. There's a company that makes a small vent-mounted boost gauge that matches the OEM gauges perfectly. It even sweeps when you start the engine, just like the factory gauges.

I agree with both of the "mods" that you've done Shadow. It's a fantastic looking car already, the slight tinting (aka, not as dark as the pictures) makes it look good, and I'd much rather see those LED's on all the time rather than part on and off. That's a tiny thing that Audi has latched on to and it makes them look great.

Yeah, I love the LEDs. Now we're starting to see more and more copycats out there though. Have you seen the new Lexus IS? The body style is still the same, but they added a strip of LED running lights along the bottom of the headlight lenses. Looks similar to Audi, but not quite the same. For some reason, Audi just seems to do it best.

It's also pretty cool that I can turn the LED strips on or off via the navigation screen. Actually, there are a ton of things that can be configured through the nav screen. I've never seen a car that is so customizable as this one. There's just so much to choose from that it's crazy.

Oddly enough, especially being in Worst Virginia, I saw one of those Lexi today on my drive home. I think that they don't have the subtle curve that Audi puts on them (probably because Audi copyrighted/trademarked/something -I'm not a lawyer-). It seems they are more of a straight line, and it's just not as sexy...
