it's not the same thing as vinyl though; it's leatherette.
think of it as a cross between leather and vinyl. mine has little holes in it to help it breathe and it looks a lot like leather in person.

The steering system and suspension were great strengths of the MKV. What did they do to it exactly?
i think they took out the electronic steering and went with a more conventional hydraulic system, and they ditched the heavy and costly independent rear suspension for a beam suspension. they also put rear drum brakes in the lower models (S and SE methinks).

Don't let Cow see this thread. He might get angry at our slaughtering of his people.

Speaking of that, has anyone ever had "flap" steak? I think that's what they call it. We got a package at Costco last week and cooked it up on the grill and it was delicious. I never even heard of that cut before, but it really is fantastic.

There's something very disturbing and disgusting about that picture. Maybe because of that recent news story about the guy who had planned to kidnap women, cook them, and eat them.

Sorry guys, I've been caught up in a bunch of stuff. I took some videos of the Accord that I'll post later. It's been quite a busy week this week - new Acura RLX and 2013 Honda Civic announced, plus I have to get my coilovers installed before it gets too cold to work on my car

This is the new Acura flagship with a direct injected V6 and computer controlled rear steering. It has a lot of new features - a basic one that I can talk about is that it lets you lock/unlock the car from your cell phone.

I saw a video of that on acura's youtube channel. Really interesting. Must be similar to Audi's concept

The beak on that Acura seems to have been toned down. I might be starting to like the new Acuras' looks again.
