This is where I will say that I have always wanted an Evo being one of the Mitsubishi faithful. But between the new Lancer ralliart and the new WRX (4 door, NOT the hatchback), that WRX is fast becoming the car that I may consider saving for. Its faster than the STi for crying out loud !!! 0-60 for 4.7 seconds for around 26k ??? HELL TO THE YEEAAAHHH !

It's all in how the 0--60 is tested... comparing the same methods WRX < STi though the difference is smaller than 07 due to the lower redline of the 08-on Imprezas making the STi shift to third to hit 60mph (the STi avoided it for one year in 07) and the increased WRX power of 09.

A SiK STi wrote:First off just incase any of you were wondering I got used to MT and now im a PRO AT SHIFTING AFTER ONLY 1 WEEK..LOl j/k. But anyways I was wondering if anyone knows what the 1/4 time on a slightly modded 05 STi is. I only have minor mods on the car..intakes..new exhaust..adjusted boost to 21 lbs.All I have are estimates though, So I was wondering if anyone has a similar STi and knows its 1/4 time and 0-60. Ive got an estimated 315 HP..havent put it on a dyno yet though. AND I EAT EVOS FOR BREAKFAST AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
They'll do a 9.083 1/4 mile, reaching 290.65 MPH at the traps.

Of course, that was rolling out the back ramp of a C141 flying at 1320 feet above ground level.

Oh, and the plane was flying in a vacuum. I think it was one of them durned new Dysons, with the ball instead of wheels. I just love them. One day, I'm gonna up and marry one.

ah where do I start ,well first of all a wrx is worth more then a gti , 2. i got some problems i have to work out. 3. WHO WOULD WANT TO TRADE A WRX FOR A GTI. and lastly i have no money.

I just cant find a deal like I would have gotten with that wrx I mean it had 114k miles brembo brakes from an sti, 18 rota rims, and a greddy evo2 exhaust and I was gonna get it for 6300.
The funny thing is that the guy who bought it paid 500 more then what I was gonna get it for. :cry: which would is still a good deal :( :cry:

Man, you shouldn't even complain, I would kill for an '04 gti. Seriously, get into the dub culture, dubbers are EVERYWHERE. I personally have about 6 close friends with vw's ranging from mk3 to mk5, and they are awesome. Get into the dub culture and you won't regret the purchase one bit.

Just don't get wrong-offset wheels with stretched tires and a rusty hood.

Yes... That would be the seedy underbelly of dub culture.

y + seedy dubber = ricer + y
We subtract y from both sides to get the final equation:
seedy dubber = ricer

As we all know, after solving hours of equations, the answer is this:
Ricer = MEGAFAAAAAAG!

Tell me, did I just accurately use an algebra concept?
