If I have photos on my computer how do I go about putting them on here?

No offense but that's not much help, lol.

Go to http://www.photobucket.com and create an account. There you can upload tons of pictures and keep track of them in an album. Upload your pics there. For each 1 photobucket will give you code to post on here with [ img ] tags. Take that code for each picture and put them in your post on this site.

i'm gonna add in a basic run down, though Tinton basically covered it there's some details that are important.

How to post pics

1> Upload the pictures to a hosting site such as http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.us

1a> You may want to resize the image to 640x480 or 800x600. Very large images take a while for users with slower connections to download, and also will mess with the formatting of the forum page.

2> copy the Direct Link to the image. This will usually be something like http://img32.imageshack.us/somerandomstuff/picture.jpg. You don't want a link to a web page because that won't show as an image in the forums. These web page links usually have something like .php?image=picture.jpg at the end of them. If you want the picture itself to show up on the forum, make sure you copy the direct link.

3> Make your post, and put the link to the image within img tags like this:

Code: Select all

The easiest and fastest way is http://www.tinypic.com , because you don't need to have an account with them...

Lately, I've been using Glowfoto for quick image posting, because imageshack has been slowwwwwww as hell for me the past few months...
