I know when the Alfa's alternator croaked after being overworked from recharging a completely flat battery, I got a nice big red light with ALT in the middle of it. All of our other cars have a little red pictorial of a battery.

Yeah, I've got an oil pressure gauge and an oil warning light (just in case you didn't know that something's wrong if your oil pressure is 5 PSI).

Parts of the Sonic design cues were taken from motorbikes - example is the dash cluster and the front headlamp setup.
